Quick Directions:
Take Highway 101 to the Petaluma Boulevard South exit; exit and head north towards downtown Petaluma. After going through two traffic lights, you will make a right onto “H” street. The first stop sign is 2nd street. Make a right and go all the way to the end of the road where you will see the sign for the “Foundry Wharf”. Turn left into the parking lot and head all the way to the back corner.
The boathouse is behind the cyclone fence, along the river. Look for boats and athletes. You made it!

Water
Petaluma River is rowable year-round. Members usually frequent the first 6 miles of the river south of Petaluma. The "River" is a tidal slough that is subject to tides which are about 45 minutes behind those at the Golden Gate. Boat traffic is not regulated outside of Petaluma city limits, but tends not to be a major problem except during mid-day on holidays and summer weekends. Most of the river area is bounded by wetlands, a bird sanctuary, and 3 small marinas. There are 4 major straight-aways on the river on which we can row 500-2500m pieces.
