I joined the NBRC community first as a parent of a Junior rower in 2022, and then as a Novice Master in 2023.  I grew up in Novato, California, attended UC San Diego for college and medical school, and completed my medical training in Internal Medicine and Endocrinology at UC Davis.  In 2007 I relocated with my husband to Penngrove to practice medicine and start a family.  In 2021 I received a North Bay Business Journal Women in Business Leadership Award for my contributions to the community during the Covid pandemic. Joining the NBRC community has changed my life in so many positive ways.  I have discovered strength, renewal, joy, a new appreciation for our watershed and its wildlife, community, friendship, and the thrill of racing. It has been my pleasure to serve on the Board as Secretary at NBRC for 2 years, Juniors Registrar for 1 year, and more recently also as the Masters Co-Team Captain. NBRC is a beautiful community and club, and I enjoy contributing what I can to ensure its values, members, and reputation are honored.
