Membership Dues

New members are required to pay a one-time initiation fee of $50. Should your membership lapse this handling fee will be applicable.

Adult Membership: $520 per year

Payment Options:

• In full: $520

• Quarterly: $130 per quarter

Year runs May 1 to April 30

Family Membership (same household): $720 per year/$180 per quarter
Price covers 2 family members (except Junior Team Members)

Each Additional Family Member (same household): $50

Separate membership forms and waivers need to be submitted for each individual.

Friends & Family Membership: $720 per year

In the event you have a friend/acquaintance that has financial hardship and you wish to enable them to be a member of the club you may pay for a Family Membership* at the current rate and include that person as part of your family. Limit of one friend/acquaintance per family. Applications will be applied for annually and approved by the NBRC board.

NBRC can only operate thanks to the hard work of our members who volunteer to help organize, run, and maintain the boatyard. Each of our members is required to fulfill 15 hours of volunteer service, which can be filled at fundraisers, work days, or other club events. The volunteer calendar year runs January 1st through December 31st, and any unfulfilled volunteer hours will be subject to a $10 fine per unfilled hour, billed mid-January.

Collegiate: $150 Annual

Post-Graduate: $75 per Quarter

Year runs May 1 to April 30

Must come from a current rowing program. Skill check by coach required. Students under 18 yrs must be accompanied by an adult rower unless specifically permitted by his/her parent and a USRA-certified NBRC coach to row alone.

In town and want to hop in a boat? NBRC welcomes guest rowers to join us for the small fee of $15 per practice, limit of three practices per person.

Private lessons are $50.00 per hour which you may arrange with the sculling coach. Please contact us to schedule a lesson.

Semi-private sculling lessons are available for experienced scullers, in which you may sign up for 1 hour or ½ hour slots,  1x, 2x or 4x are welcome at $50.00 per hour.

Participation in a coached masters program is $180 quarterly and includes unlimited practices.
