LEARN-TO-ROW COURSE FOR ADULTS
In these uncertain times, North Bay Rowing Club is not holding its normal two-day Learn-to-Row classes. Instead, we are introducing prospective members to the sport via individual sculling lessons.
Following sculling lessons, those who are interested will be given periodic opportunities to be trained in sweep boats.
Sculling lessons are offered at your convenience. To get started on your rowing journey, just contact us.
PRIVATE SCULLING LESSONS
Private sculling lessons are conducted one-on-one with one of our sculling coaches, and can be arranged by contacting the coach directly and scheduled at a time most convenient for you. After several private lessons, the coach can clear you (at their discretion) to take a boat out on your own. This will happen after you've demonstrated an understanding of the safety precautions and basic rowing technique.
Learn-to-Row Course
for Adults

Private Sculling
Lesson
- The fee for private sculling lessons is $50.00 per hour. You may arrange a convenient time with the sculling coach. Please contact us to schedule a lesson.
- Semi-private sculling lessons are available for experienced scullers, in which you may sign up for 1-hour or ½-hour slots. 1x, 2x or 4x are welcome at $50.00 per hour per boat.
