Marielle MacDonell
JUNIOR COACH
Marielle rowed for SSU for 4 years and competed at a national level in 2018, where she and the rest of her crew came in 9th in the nation. Marielle had several leadership positions during her time with Sonoma State Rowing Club, she held the positions of Secretary and President for a year each, and held some responsibilities of a Vice President and Boat Yard Manager as well.
She first started coaching in 2018 and has coached for 7 seasons at NBRC so far, 5 with LTR, and 2 seasons with the high school crew. Marielle has been boating since she was a child and loves to be on the water in any capacity. She has also has a passion for teaching others and loves getting to help others improve, on and off the water.
