Learn-to-Row Summer Camp Information
At the Learn-to-Row Summer Camp, athletes will learn the fundamentals of the sport both on land and, most importantly, on the water. They will meet current members of the team who will help guide and instruct them in proper form, and learn what it means to be a part of a team. Athletes will begin the first few days of instruction on land learning proper boat handling and basic technique, and then on the subsequent days they will practice their skills on the water in team boats that holds either 8, 4 or 2 students in a shell. Students will then have the opportunity to try singles at the end of the week-long session.
Summer camps are open to all rowers, whether you're a seasoned athlete looking for something new or simply looking for a fun new way to stay in shape! No experience is required!
